Easter Bubs

I remember Vash's first Easter. He got a farm puzzle in his basket and it was his favorite puzzle for the longest time. We had to take it with us every where because he wanted to show every one how well he could put it together.( It was recently surpassed by a Winnie the Pooh puzzle.) He was cruising but not full out walking yet so we decided to line the eggs up on the edge of the sofa instead of hiding them. He was pretty excited when he saw them, only because they were brightly colored I think, and went right after them. He crawled over to the sofa and pulled himself up. He grabbed an egg and examined it. We told him to toss it into the basket. He did so and then happily went along grabbing eggs and tossing them. Mostly into the basket, but some just onto the floor. That's how he found out there were treats inside. One busted open revealing rainbow goldfish. He smiled and laughed and crawled as quick as he could over to the treats where he sat and began eating them. He tried to get to all the eggs pretty quickly after that. We didn't do an egg hunt this year because Vash found the basket holding the eggs before we COULD hide them and ate most of the treats before we could stop him. Not mad. Just noting. Nothing comes between that kid and food.
