Reaching

This is another non memory, current thing. But it was so cute I felt it needed it's own post. We take family walks almost every night. We like the exercise, the temple, and the opportunity to talk. But mine and Craig's favorite thing about our walks, is the kids reaction to the bushes at the Fairbanks home. They have bushes with flowers and the bushes usually grow very far out onto the sidewalks. This used to annoy us but as of late, it has become a rather endearing area. I'm not sure who started it, (I want to say Rhyla because I don't recall Vash doing this before) but every time we pass the house and those bushes, they reach their little hands out and try to touch a flower. It's amazing to us. They're little kids. Especially Rhyla. But they remember that the bushes are coming, that they want to touch them, and they know that they wont be hurt if they manage to reach one. It's the most adorable view. Pushing the stroller and looking down to see two arms, one so baby chubby she still has fat sleeves, and one still tiny but almost big boyish, just ... reaching.
